Hello,
I have a dell studio 15 laptop.
Recently my laptop temperature has started rising abruptly.
I think that it becomes very hot b'cos a lot of hard disk area is utilised.
I have 500 gb Hard disk of which 466gb is usable(rest reserved automatically) and of it 93gb is free.
Thus around 407 gb is occupied. I recently added new movies to it which occupy around 110 gb space.
Another 120 gb is occupied by game dumps(setups only).
Rest is occupied by 2 operating systems(Win xp and win 7 64 bit).

The base of laptop b'comes very hot and i think overall temperature b'cms 50'Celsius, what to say of processor temperature.
So what should I do to prevent my laptop from b'cming too hot??????
Should I free the hard disk space or what?

Hi,
It has nothing to do with your harddisk space.

Just clean all the vents, blow out with canned air.

Never run your laptop on bag & bed.

Laptop Sides, back and bottom must be clear.

or Laptop Cooler Pad are available for fast heat dissipation.
