LENOVO LAPTOP NOT CHARGING BUT RUNS ON BTY

Hello,
I HAVE A LENOVO LAPTOP 3000 SERIES. WHEN THE POWER CORD IS PLUGGED INTO THE AC SOCKET MAINS, IT DOES NOT CHARGE THE BTY OF THE LAPTOP AS THE BTY ICON DOES NOT DISAPPEAR, HOWEVER, THE LAPTOP FUNCTIONS AS LONG AS THE BTY HAS CHARGE IN IT.KINDLY ADVISE REMEDIAL ACTIONS.

Dear Lalit,

It could be that the charger is damaged and hence you should tried an alternative one to confirm the matter.
