Hello,

I appear to have a virus that AVG, Bull Guard or Windows Defender cannot find. Some web pages I try to access take me to other pages and then I get bombarded with adverts. I have a program going by the name M5T8QL3YW3 which I have disabled in MSCONFIG which has reduced the problem but not solved it. Any ideas?

When I use SAFARI i do not suffer from the problem.

Cheers

Step 2: Download Malwarebytes'Anti-Malware (https://ccm.net/downloads/security-and-maintenance/4621-malwarebytes-anti-malware/ install it and update its database to the latest. After that, reboot your computer to make Malwarebytes'Anti-Malware fully functional, repeat Step 1 into Safe Mode and run a full scan of your computer.

NOTE: If you have problem installing Malwarebytes'Anti-Malware Software, you can rename the installer to winlogon.exe or iexplore.exe. Then double click the program and follow the install steps.
Thank you mrrigga - that appears to have worked although the program name is still in MSconfig?

Hello,

I will help you to remove the programme from msconfig for the virus may return.

To fix the problem, I must have a Hyjacthis log.

Please download, install and request a scan and save a log. Copy the log and post it here.
