Hello,
Having a problem with laptops that run Windows Vista connecting to our wireless internet-they have connected to other wireless networks, just can't connect to ours.
Have DLink WBR-1310 router. Password required. Laptops with XP connect without issue. Tried to connect, was able to see our network, can select the connection, password screen comes up, enter password, click connect, password removed. System shows connected, but is not.
I've searched all over, can't find an issue with the password not holding. Checked Windows Vista Compatibility List however our router is not listed as compatible or not compatible.
This seems to be the best forum for help that I've ran across so I hope someone can give me some suggestions.

This could be a DNS server problem. To test this type the following on the browser address line http://74.125.87.106/

if the Google page is displayed then you know that you are in fact connected to the internet but have a DNS problem.

In any case report back with your results.

Good Luck
