Ipod problems

Hello,


i was restoring my ipod and then out of no where, the ipod shows a "white apple". and i try the home and the top button pressing them together and it didnt work the white apple shows, and i do that again, but just having it plugged it and after releasing the top bottom just keep pressing the "home button" , then it shows in itunes that to restore it, and i do that, but after i let it restoring it, it stops and it saids connection failed. . And the white apple shows again.. Can anybody help me with this ?? it would be helpful i dont know what else to do

Please consider restoring the ipod to see whether the problem gets fixed.
