Pages don't load properly, images missimg

Hello, I have an eeepc 701 8gb windows xp netbook. For the first few months (bought on March) worked like a dream with my 3g broadand dongle but now I can't get pictures on pages and the icons on the tool bar also dissappear. To use google mail I have to go to basic html. Please help!!!!! Many thanks.

Dear Sir,

Please get to Tools> Options and uncheck automatically block images for having the problem solved.
