Connection problem with static ip

Hello,
i am puzzled by how my pc behave. it works well with the dhcp but cannot connect when set to static. how can i make it work with static? any help is very much appreciated.

Hi,

May be your ISP is providing you dynamic IP address. If you want static IP

address, contact your internet service provider for the static IP address.
