External Dvd Drive

Hello,

I have an external dvd drive. I've had it for about a year. Now, my computer won't read it. When I plug the usb in it comes on and I can open and close it but when i go to my computer the drive isn't showing up at all. What is the problem?

Hi there,

This can be the usb data cable ,change the cable and also update the drivers in device manager.
