Solution 1:
Just change the SATA mode to IDE/Compatible Mode in BIOS. But the
performance decreases.
Or try this 1
Solution 2:
1) Download nlite software & install it
https://www.nliteos.com/download.html
2) Download SATA Driver from this link
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp32001-32500/sp32478.exe
After downloading ---> right click on sp32478--->select "Extract to
sp32478"(Note : You can use winrar to extract the files)
3) Now click on the below link and download the winimage application
http://www.winimage.com/download/winima85.exe
Double click on the "winima85" setup file -->Click on "Next" --> Next --> Select
the option "I accept the License Agreement" and then click on Next --> Next
---> Next --> Next--> Next ---> uncheck the option "Check this box to install
FileDisk" and Click on "Finish". Now Open "WinImage" application --> Click on
OK.
Now Click on "File --> Open". Note : In open window at the bottom select
"Files of types:" as "All files(*.*)" option from the drop down menu. Now
navigate to the sp32478 folder and select the file "F6flpy32".
Now Click on "Image --->Extract( shortcut is hold ctrl key and press X key)"
from the menu options. Click on browse to choose the location to save the
files and then click on "New Folder" to create a folder and name that created
folder as Drivers --> Now make sure that created folder is selected and then
click on OK --> Select the option "Extract all files into same folder" and click on OK.
4) Place the "Windows xp" cd in the drive.
5) Open nlite application---> click on "Browse" and navigate it to your cd drive
that contains xp cd placed in that drive and select the drive and click on OK
----> then it asks you where to save the files ----> just navigate to your
desired location ---> click on "New Folder" button and select that folder
--->click on OK---> Now it copies the windows xp files. After that click on
Next--->Next.
6) In task selection --->Click on "Drivers" and "Bootable ISO" options -->click
on "Next".
7) Now click on "Insert" ---> click on "Multiple Folder"----> Navigate to the
driver's extracted location and select the folder "drivers" ---->Click on "All"
button---> ----->Click on "OK"--->in "Text mode integration options", Select all
the 8 drivers and click on OK--->Click on "Next".
8) Click on "Yes" to start the process. Then click on "Next".
9) In "Mode" option select your choice whether you want to make image or
burn it to cd.
10) If you want to make ISO file then click on "Make ISO" button
11) After burning this slipstream xp, now try to install it.
Good luck.
