About the recovery disc!!! toshiba

Hello,

I just ordered the recovery disc for my toshiba L455D-S5976 today and i waas wonder once i do this will all the drivers be installed as there were when i first bought my laptop? i want to make sure it does because right im having the whole WINDOWS HAS JUST RECOVERED FROM AN UNEXPECTED SHUT DOWN and on top of that my laptop isn't recognizing my USB device for my comcast connection manager. I only had this laptop for about 4 months, i really hope this will help me...i have windows 7

Hi there,

Yes mate windows and drivers will all be installed by using the recovery cd as it was when purchased.

You are talking about the recovery disc from the manufacturer. OEM supplied recovery media is commonly shipped with most computers to allow the user to reformat the hard drive and reinstall the operating system and pre-loaded software as it was when it was shipped.

you can also try using the windows 7 system repair disk to boot up the laptop with windows 7
