Sims 3 Not Working

Hi,
i've had sims 3 about a year, got a new laptop so i unistaled it off my old one (worked fine on it ) when it intall it on my new one ( Dell Inspiron) and in the middle of installing it it came up with
'File D:\ GameData\Shared\Packages\FullBuild1.package
Error: Data error (cyclic redundancy check).
so i tryed it on my old one again and it did the same. do you no whats happend ?
