I have a Windows XP x64 edition acer ferrari 4000, I have been trying to get files of of external hard drives and memory pens, atm im trying the sandisk cruzer micro 4gb memory pen. With both of these things (memory pens and hard drives) it comes up saying install this software so I click it but then it says it cant find the files required.....It says Im missing the drivers but I cant figure out why it realises that Ive plugged in the device yet I cant get into it to get my files off of the device, can someone help me please? I just want to get files from this device so why wont my laptop let me in!!??
