Sony Vaio Laptop without sound

Hello,

My SONY laptop with Xp Windows has no sound. I just reloaded the windows and still there is no sound. Even when I put a dvd in the message says no input speakers, but the laptop already has speakers. Please help.

Dear Jenny,

You should actually have the sound drivers installed on the system in order to obtain sound on it.
