No signal

Hello, I am trying to run my pc through my lcd 32" TV but soon as the windows loading screen goes it shows a "no signal" message. The PC runs on through its normal monitor and if i pluck my laptop in the same way with the same cable it also works well. With using the original monitor and a scart into the tv from a tv out card i can run with using it as an extended window ok.Really puzzled any help would be great cheers.

Try messing with your graphics program that came with your laptop (most of them have settings for presentation, etc in a proprietary program that came preinstalled) or your graphics properties box to choose which monitor is your primary (#1) and then set it to 1 monitor display, or to display the same on both.
