Well who ever sold you , must have wiped the OS clean. You need to install the operating System. Hopefully it has a Hard drive still there.

Just a comment to say that I agree wholeheartedly with Rizvisa. Mind you it was wise of the person that sold it to you to erase the system to protect personal data.
