It is also important to remove the suspicious applications and programs in the computer to avoid Windows freezing. Sometimes there may be dual infection in your computer. In this type of infection not only your Windows registry gets corrupted and needs massive repair but also there is virus based penetration in the Windows set up. In this situation it is recommended to conduct a virus scan as well.

Some additional things that you can do are to add RAM, cool down your computer, keep a short list of start up items and the programs running as the background services.

However, if your Windows freezes up, the best solution is to repair the computer registry.

Hello,

Try this 1.

Click on Start --> Run --> Type msconfig and click on OK.

Click on "Startup" tab and uncheck the check box for the unnecessary startup

items.

Good Luck.

Hello,
May be its taking time to start the process and services at the backend.
Try this 1.
At that time, hold ctrl+shift keys and press the Esc key --> task manager will be opened.
Click on "Processes" tab and in "user name column" is it totally displayed with "administrator or your username, local service, network service" texts.
Also wait for a while and let me know if you able to use your computer or not.
Good Luck.
