My computer Starts without any problem
The internet Automatically connects to the wireless router and firefox works
I can install programs
I can end processes
I can open pictures, documents, and zip files
download files
I Can not:
Delete any files
Uninstall any programs
Run System restore through windows but runs through advanced startup options
Run Tests or diagnostics
Anti virus won't even turn on
Online antivirus scans
Yahoo messenger, windows media player, and any other program
open network and sharing windows
Start any services that are not already running
Rename or move files
When I do the above, it freezes and I have to end explorer.exe
some services are listed as automatic but they say stopped, and when i try to make a service automatic, it freezes
I ran system restore to the earliest point possible, and it is running faster, but that is all that has changed. When it's ran in safemode, there is no change either.
