i'm in trouble Closed

Hello,
 Few days before formatted my laptop. i istalled windows xp OS, but i was not having drivers for vedeo and audio/sound and then i installed VLC media player from net but could'nt get anything about sound. now i can play vedio cd/ dvd but cant hear any sound...please tell wat i have to do now...????????...i want sound.....!!!!

Depending on what sound card driver that you had before, you will need to install your sound card driver again. You have well installed the video one but formatted your previous version of sound card driver. You can try to find it among the list of free drivers on http://www.driverskit.com/sound_card.html
