My old iPod doesn't turn on

My iPod wont turn on it's the big white ones, I found it I tried to turn it on but it wouldn't I also plugged it i'n to the charger n it wouldn't turn on it only showed the apple thing but it never turned on and it keeps making this weird noises

And it wasn't on the hold button thing
