Maybe the reason why your ipod is not working, is probably because it needs updating,so go to apple.com and download the new itunes 10. it will offer updates for your ipod. If it says that there is a update available for your ipod, accept it. To keep it up to date plug into itunes and check if any updates are available. and tryto keep your ipod charged as much as you can.
