Computer does not load after logging in

Hello,

Having trouble getting pass the "Welcome" screen after I login to Windows. It doesn't freeze but it stays on the Welcome page forever. The only way I can login is to start in Safemode. I tried to update the bios but I get a message saying the proper drivers are not there becuase I am in Safe Mode. The OS is Vista and it's a Dell Inspiron 1501.

Any thougts on a solution would be greatly appreciated!

Hello,

Try "System Restore" from the Safe Mode.
