Hello,

my new dell laptop with windows 7 was able to connect to my hp laptop with the router connected but now my new laptop which i used to wirelessly surf is not able to connect even though my connection entitled "peter1" shows the single as excellent - i have wireless on button on on the wireless device which is a new dell with windows 7 -

i have reset the router and have gone as far as installing a new router
i have had the notebook near the router to check if it was a distance issue - nothing..

i did the set up with the software and nothing
i set up with windows "set up new network" - usb key etc and nothing...

what the heck am i doing wrong

am i supposed to set up new network on the wireless device(new laptop) or old laptop connected to router

once again it was working at one time for a long time - im afraid someone sabotaged or using my connection

im thinking of getting a new router and trying again witht he instructions in box

your help would be appreciated

All network drivers installed/updated? If Hardware has been ruled out as the culprit then software could be the next problem, hopefully someone with more exp in this field will offer more advice to this conflict. As im working more with LAN and Cables
