Computers lost music, can i sync from ipod?

Hello,
my computer has managed to delete all my received files, have looked everywhere and tried searching for them but they have simply been removed from the system. I have not used my itunes for a while and did nto discover this until wanting to put new music in my itunes, please help as the majority of my music will now not play!!

i was wondering if it was possible to sync my library from my ipod as i still have all my music on my ipod :)
