Location iTunes folder
Solved/Closed
Hello,
My computer crashed and I have a new one. I just reloaded iTunes and realized that my playlist for my 1000+ CD's are not there.
Any idea what the iTunes folder is named?
Does iTunes load your music folder on installation in the operating system hard drive?
Appreciate any help.
Ron

Hi,
Search for your Itune folder in your backup file(normally it should be in "my music/itune)
Then open fresh installed Itune click on;
*File
*Go to Library
*And select import Library
*When pop-up window open, browse and select file named "iTunes Library"
Thanks

I had all my data mapped to a separate data drive except for iTunes. My pmusic folder must be on the operating drive that was RAID and stripped and my current computer cannot read it.
So this does not happen again. Can I move my music folder to a different hard drive than the iTunes operation drive? Is this as simple as drag and drop?
Thanks
Ron
