Hello, Windows XP / SP3 i have a compaq presario v2000us and i have no sound. i downloaded the drivers from compaq/hp for the sound card and still no sound. i bought the computer from a friend and it worked before he had it reformated. the guy that done it had no knowledge of what he was doing. can someone please give me some suggestions of what i can try please? thank you.

Try this 1.

Click on the below link and download the UAA Bus Driver.

Install the UAA Bus Driver and restart your laptop. Now try installing your

audio drivers.
