I am in the process of downgrading from Vista home to XP pro. Need all necessary drivers because I cant connect to internet and use HP update to fix.

Go here for ALL HP dv2000 series notebook DRIVERS:

The first 3 names on the list are for complete driver list for each series of notebooks (generic drivers too I think) !!!

Get a set of the generic drivers FIRST then update them with EXACT drivers from individual model pages
Why HP 'hides' these full driver list pages at their website is beyond me, very hard to find.
I accidently came across them!
If you use the search box that the top of the page ( EXAMPLE: put dv6000 in product area then 'Driver' in key word) it should bring up a COMPLETE list of drivers for each dv6000 series notebook.
The 'CTO' named product link is THE page to get the COMPLETE driver list.....you then use each models individual page to get the EXACT drivers for that model.

IF you use the HP website link above you can get all the drivers for mos of the HP computers I think!!
Just use the search bar at the top and then goto the 'CTO' model driver page first.......This page has the complete driver list for your PC/notebook....if you go to the individual model page you will only get drivers for devices and/or changes made to that PARTICULAR model PC......
EG: I want drivers for my HP dv2000 series Notebook.....
My model is actually dv2202tu.........on sticker at bottom of notebook.....
I goto the dv2000t CTO driver page first.....get all drivers.....
Then I goto the dv2202tu driver page and get rest of drivers!
