I have a XFX Geforce 8800GT video card.
Yesterday, when i was playing Fallout New Vegas my computer freezed during fast travel loading (in game). When i restarted the computer, i am not able to get any display on monitor. My CPU was running, yet there was no display on monitor!
What is the cause of this problem?

Hello,

Try this 1

Remove the graphic card from the slot, clean it and place it back properly.

Check your graphic card also and make sure the problem is not coming from it.

Remove the graphic card and try connecting your monitor to the onboard VGA.

Note : If your onboard VGA is disabled then reset your BIOS. You can find all the

instructions to reset your BIOS in the below link. Try "Hardware Reset"

https://ccm.net/faq/1192-lost-bios-password-resetting-the-bios

Also check your RAM. Remove the RAM from the slot, clean it and place it back

properly or try another slot. Check your RAM also.

Good Luck.

Hello,
Disable the on-board VGA and check whether you are able to get the display from the graphic card or not. Make sure the graphic card is placed properly.
Note : If you failed to get the display from the external card and want to enable the onboard VGA then reset the bios from the above link.
Good Luck.
