Hello,

I have a LENOVO THINKPAD Y310 [Laptop], I have been using it for about two years with the broken connection between the keyboard and the monitor. So the monitor needed a support to stand erect. Everything was working fine, until one day, when I try to start it up, it starts up and automatically turns off and on its own and it again turns on and off repeatedly; without any display on the monitor.
Please anyone can suggest what should I do?
and I have tried to do the following:
1. Remove power supply and battery.
2. Hold power button down for 30 seconds.
3. WHILE STILL HOLDING DOWN POWER BUTTON, INSERT POWER SUPPLY (that's what she said), THEN INSERT BATTERY. *THE POWER BUTTON SHOULD BE HELD, THROUGHOUT THIS ENTIRE STEP.
4. At this point, the blue light and the charging light both came on, and the computer started properly.

Was successful till the 3rd step.

Any Suggestions are welcome.
