Laptop-tv hook-up

Hello,
Hooked-up my hp (pavilion dv2000) to sony bravia XBR using HD15 male to male vga cable and audio cable (connected to s/pdif). there was no problem with the video, but the sound is not loud enough even if the sony soundbar with subwoofer is turned on.

Hi,

Raise the volume level from your laptop to maximum ,that will be all if already on maximum.
