Hello,
when I boot up my Windows XP Pro PC, I get the Windows is starting scrolling than a blank screen then Windows is starting again and then a blank screen. I can hear the hard drive continuing to build up but there is no display. I took it into a shop for a repair. They did not experience the problem. I came home and the same thing happens. All I have is a monitor mouse and keyboard attached. Can anybody help.

Greatings,
Start the computer with the Windows XP CD and then choose option R.
Recovery Console offers to log on to Windows XP that allows you to have the administrator account automatically activated.
Type the password for this account by default there is not normally (press enter).
Then display the command prompt type:
"fixmbr c:"
and then hit enter.
Restart your PC by typing "exit".
Normally if everything went well your pc restarts normally.

If this does not solve your problem but repeat the same operation type:
"fixboot c:"
This will repair the boot sector.
