Hello,
Today when i started my laptop(Hp dv5 1000us) its just showing the hp invent screen .Its not even going in Boot menu.....Plz help ..I am using Vista..

Veil you will need to use your laptop's system restore CD, your Operating System is corrupted.  You will need to re-install Windows Vista.  However when you install, use the update OS option.  This will install the corrupted OS files without formating your harddrive.
