ok well plug in your ipod and youll see the icon appear on the side where your playlist and etc. is click on the icon once. The screen will appear with a picture of your ipod and its information and if you dont then answer the information the computers asking and it will. make sure the following things are checked;on music tab the big blue title and summary manually manage music and videos.
