My laptop wont turn on ...

Hello, my presario2000 laptop will not turn on...my battery said that is has been low for awhile and the kids have been using it now it wont come on at on even with the charger on...Could the battery be so low that it wont even take a charge...Thanks for your help...

sounds like your AC power adapter or DC Power Jack has went bad in your labtop
