Hello,

I was wondering if it was possible to use the power cord from a Dell Latitude E6410 to start up/charge an HP Pavilion dv6?

If anyone could advise that would be greatly appreciated.

Joe

Not sure but be careful The dell power cord is a 90w AC and if I remember correctly the HP Dv6 is a 65W AC

Good to know, I knew the pin size was the same but though the power output was a little different, though it was not much of a difference anyway.

Hello,

Compare the output voltage of your old power adapter with the new one. The

output voltage (V) must be the same, the amps( indicated as A) could be the

same or higher than on the original power adapter.

Good Luck
