Help!! My toshiba laptop doesnt want to boot

Hey,
Okay so my toshiba laptop wont boot up!! Its pain in the ass! the system recovery isnt working and so is none of the f8 options! when i select sytem recovery all that happens is the windows logo comes up then the screen goes blank with the cursor...and then nothing!? its been like that for the last 3-4 months and ive had it for less than a year :(...any help??

Try another battery to see if the battery is the problem. I would try what some of the other people have suggested.
Unplug the power
Take out the battery
Wait for 2-3 minutes
Put the battery back in
Try to turn on the machine
If that doesn't work, take out the battery
wait 1 minute
Plug in the laptop and try to see if you can turn it on after that.
If the above solution is not helpful try checking the AC adapter jack to make sure that isn't a problem. Try replacing the motherboard as a last option.

Try to turn on the machine
If that doesn't work, take out the battery

Try following method to get rid of Black screen problem.
1) TAKE OUT YOUR LAPTOP BATTERY
2) REMOVE YOUR AC ADAPTOR CORD, that's the wall power, remove it.
3) NOW HOLD DOWN THE POWER BUTTON FOR 30 SECONDS.
