My gateway netbook won't start

Hello,

My gateway netbook lt won't start. It shows the start up screen. Then it gives me an option of which mode I would like to start in. No matter what mode I choose, it just shuts down and starts it self back up. If I don't touch it, it just does this in a loop unless I turn it off completely. What do I do?
