Toshiba Satellite Won't Start (Black Screen)

Hello,

My Toshiba Satellite will not start. The hard drive was replaced just last year. I am told by the phone consultants that the hard drive is not being detected. Any *magic* answers that someone can offer would be MUCH appreciated. Thank you.

Hello,

Try this 1

Go to BIOS --> Load default settings --> Make sure your hard drive is

detected in the BIOS --> Set the first boot device as "Hard drive" --> Save the

settings and exit from the BIOS.
