Help with user accounts

Hello, i got a computer off a friend, it has 6 user accounts, she cannot remember any of the passwords for them as it was a long time ago that she last used it. i can only get on to windows via the guest user account but it doesnt give me permission to alter the user accounts . what can i do to delete them off please?

depending on the operating system, it is sometimes possible to log in as administrator with no password, if that fails re-install the os
