My monitor goes blank when i resart

Hello Sir,
I have ASUS motherboard with core 2 duo processor and when i install windows 7 my monitor goes black screen whenever i restart , m facing this problem from a long time.Same happened with windows Xp sp3 , but sp2 or any lower version having no such problem , plz help me out. my monitor is LG 17 inch.

Sir ,
I have 1 gb ram , asus 31 bit motherboard, lg 17 inch monitor , 20 gb hdd with c drive around 20 gb for windows , core 2 duo processor , my monitor goes blank when i restart with green light blinking continuously , if i power off monitor and then turn it on after some time (when i restart ) then there is no problem , but when i use it simply without power off then it creates problem.i updated all the softwares but all in vain , help me sir..

Sir ,
I have windows 7 installed , it creates problem for windows 7 and no problem foe windows xp sp2 and lower versions.
