Ipod wont turn on just goes to a blue screan

Hello,
i try turn my ipod on and it just comes up with a blank blue screan then goes back off again can anyone help me please

Hi,

Try this to force resetting:

Move the lock slider from the left to right then hold the center button while holding the Menu key button .
