2nd HDD not showing in windows xp.

Hi,

This is vinEET i hv a problem that my new WD internal 1 Tb HDD is not showing & other old HDD is seagate 160 GB.

I have 2 operating systems on my desktop and its working fine on windows 7 but its not showing in windows xp.
its also not visible in disk management area for windos xp.
its showing in Bios of the system too.
i hv tried formatting both xp and windows 7 but it didnt work.

PLZ can anybody help me.

Hello,

After plugging the device disk, go to device manager (In run type "devmgmt.msc") In Device manager go to "Universal serial bus controllers" It should list the storage devices that you have connected to your PC. Right click on the drive controller and then click "Uninstall". Remove the USB drive and restart your system.
Try connecting the device again, i think this should solve the problem.

i have an internal hdd and its not showing in universal bus controller...................


its showing in 'DISK DRIVES' only.............


Can u help any further


i can only use it in Windows 7
