External harddrive problem

I Have a Hitachi hard drive 500GG unfortunately it fell down and after that anytime i connect to my PC it does not show . Can someone please help me as to what to do..

The drive is broken - that's what happens with you drop it.

can it be repaired

No the drive can't be repaired. But, it can be replaced and Windows reinstalled.
