Dell problem... HELP!!!

Hello,

I turn on my dell laptop and all i get is the background screen, no icons no nothing ive tried ctrl+alt+del, nothing.... What can i doooo??? Please help

What happens when you launch task manager?

Did you try booting into safemode with networking?

Actually i'm not able to do anything. I know the cd-rom and bottons works bcuz i pressed the eject botton and cd came out but its blank. Just my big white rose is up....
