Laptop only works with charger Closed

Question

Hello, my laptop stopped working unless the charger was plugged in then it stopped working altogether. Now the battery is totally flat n my laptop won't even light up wen I press power button. There no sign of life at all. Any ideas how I can fix or what's wrong, thanx  



Configuration: Mac OS X / Safari 530.17

Hi,

Battery needs to be replaced so that it can work with both adapter and battery as well as keep power on charge for use.No other way for fixing except what i suggested.
