Hello,
I have an HP desktop that was setup to connect to my router via a ethernet cable, I now want to connect to my router wirelessly but I can't figure out how to change the settings on my desktop to now connect wirelessly. It shows my home network as being available to connect to but it doesn't give me the option (connect) to connect to it. Please help!!
Thanks,
Karl Windows Vista operating system

Open your desktop browser

Type the address according to your router, normally it is

192.168.1.1

and press enter

enter username and password

go to wireless settings and configure it

Now if you want to connect your laptop, just install wireless driver on the laptop.

and connect to the router
