Computer monitor keeps saying 'no signal '?

Hello,

My monitor wont turn on it stay a black screen and says 'no signal' everything is switched on . I've tried restarting the computer several time but nothing seems to work ... I really need help with this and I'm not a technology person when it comes to computers so I have no clue what to do to attempt to fix this . Helllpp Please

Check your RAM

Clean your RAM with a soft cloth and reseat it properly
