my belkin 4962 keeps losing settings w imac Closed

Question

Hello, 

my belkin 4962 normally works fine and is interconnected with an imac......however, sometimes at night it loses its settings and i can put them in and it will work.....however, sometimes we have to get the isp out here to work on it...i'm never here when he comes, so i don't know the issue, but i have put the settings back in and it still doesn't work.....my neighbor has the same isp with a router and it's working fine....
