Hello,
Not sure this is in the write section but I really need help.
My laptop froze yesterday and remained frozen for 30min so I manually pressed down the power button to turn it off. When I started up the laptop I did a suggested system restore, after the restore, which took 10mins, the screen went to black with the loading up bar with microsoft corporation written underneath. There are green bars moving but my laptop stays like this and does not continue to the log in screen at all. It does this even if I start the laptop up normally without a system restore. Everything seems to be in working order however it will just not load up.

Can anybody be able to help me with this problem? I have a toshiba laptop and windows vista.
Thank you

Greetings Sammy,

You may have contracted a nasty virus.

Can you boot in safemode with networking ?

Hiya,
I am only given 2 options which are startup system repair and to start up normally.
I have tried both and still get no where!

Hi Sammy,

That's a sign of big trouble! What makes it more complicated is Toshiba.

Were you given the Windows CD's?
