Hp pavilion wouldn't start! HELP!Closed

Hello, 
I have an hp pavilion. I was using it fine, however I knew there were some viruses on it. I was using it till last night when my laptop just shutup. I tried turning it back on, but all that happened was the hp sign coming up and then there was a blank screen with a blinking icon on the top left of the screen. What can I do?
