Laptop wont come on

Hello, I have an Acer inspire 5532
My power button lights up on my computer, but the screen is on and I don't hear the hard drive or the fans running... can u help me please..... Idk what the problem is....

Hi,

Try this:

Remove battery and press on the power button holding it for approximately 60 seconds .Then connect power adapter to it and try to power on.When successful ,make a safe shutdown then connect battery followed by power adapter.
